You Were Called to Lead — Now Learn to Coach

As a minister or chaplain, people come to you in their most vulnerable moments — grief, burnout, crisis, and calling confusion. You've been trained to preach, teach, and counsel. But coaching is a different skill — one that empowers people to hear God for themselves and take action.

Without coaching skills, you risk carrying burdens that aren't yours, crossing into counseling territory, or watching gifted leaders burn out — including yourself.

The Divine Purpose Ministry Coach Certification gives you a proven, CCNI-aligned framework to coach with confidence, clarity, and Kingdom purpose.

Three Coaching Pillars for Ministry Professionals

Every session is designed around three areas that matter most to ministers and chaplains.

Pillar 1

Congregational & Pastoral Care Coaching

Coaching your congregation through life transitions, grief, family conflict, and purpose discovery — without crossing into counseling territory.

📖 Proverbs 20:5 — "The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out."

Pillar 2

Ministry Leadership & Burnout Recovery Coaching

Coaching ministry leaders, fellow pastors, and chaplains through burnout, calling crises, and rebuilding sustainable purpose-driven leadership.

📖 Isaiah 40:31 — "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength."

Pillar 3

Spiritual Formation & Discipleship Coaching

Coaching individuals and small groups through intentional spiritual formation, calling discovery, and discipleship that produces lasting Kingdom transformation.

📖 Romans 8:28–29 — "For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son."

Common Questions

I'm already overwhelmed in ministry — how will I find time for a 12-week program?
We designed this program specifically for busy ministry professionals. Sessions are 90 minutes once per week via Zoom, with flexible study materials you can engage on your own schedule. Many of our students find that the coaching skills they learn actually reduce their ministry burden by empowering others to take ownership of their own growth.
Is this program worth the financial investment?
This certification gives you 70+ hours of CCNI-aligned training, a credential pathway, and ministry-specific tools you'll use for the rest of your career. Many graduates add coaching as a revenue stream alongside their ministry work. We also offer payment plan options — schedule a consultation to discuss what works for your situation.
What's the difference between coaching and what I already do as a minister?
Great question — and it's exactly what Week 1 addresses. Coaching is distinct from preaching, counseling, and mentoring. It's a structured, Spirit-led process that empowers individuals to discover their own answers and take action. This program teaches you to hold that space with professional skill and biblical integrity.
Do I need prior coaching experience to enroll?
No prior coaching experience is required. This program is designed to take you from foundational understanding through certification readiness. Your ministry experience is actually a tremendous asset — we build on what God has already placed in you.
What credential will I earn upon completion?
You'll receive a Certificate of Completion as a Divine Purpose Ministry Coach, and you'll be fully eligible to apply for the CCNI Certified Christian Coach (CCC) credential — a nationally recognized Christian coaching certification.
How is this different from secular coach training programs?
Every session integrates Scripture, the CCNI Code of Ethics, and the Statement of Faith. The curriculum is built around ministry-specific scenarios — pastoral care, burnout recovery, discipleship, and calling discovery. This isn't secular coaching with a prayer tacked on. It's coaching that flows from your identity as a minister of the Gospel.

Your Calling Deserves This Next Step

God didn't call you to carry everyone's burden alone. He called you to equip, empower, and release others into their divine purpose.
